1st Geoarchaeological Conference took place on 25 November 2011 at the Institute of Archaeology at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.  The maine subject of the conference was: "Climat changes in the light of the archaeological and geoarchaeological research".

The conference was dedicated to the geoarchaeology - young but developing rapidly science dealing with the reconstruction of environmental conditions in which man lived in the past.  

1st Geoarchaeological Conference was a perfect place to advertise the project National Multidisciplinary Laboratory of Functional Nanomaterials NanoFun (POIG.02.02.00-00-025/09).
